Marni appoints Meryll Rogge as new Creative Director


OTB Group has announced the appointment of Meryll Rogge as new Creative Director of Italian luxury fashion brand Marni.

The 40-year-old Belgian designer, succeeds Francesco Risso, who departed in June 2025 after nearly a decade. Reporting to Marni CEO Stefano Rosso, Rogge will oversee the design of womenswear, menswear, and accessories, infusing Marni's playful, print-driven aesthetic with her signature subversive femininity.

A graduate in Fashion Design from the Royal Academy of Antwerp in 2008, she spent seven years (2008-2015) as a womenswear designer at Marc Jacobs in New York, and later became Head of Women's Design at Dries Van Noten in Antwerp. In 2020, she launched her eponymous label, to much acclaim and success. She won the Emerging Talent of The Year award (2021) and Designer of the Year (2024) at the Belgian Fashion Awards, and was the recipient of the Grand Prix at the 2025 ANDAM Fashion Awards.

Rogge is the first woman to lead Marni since its founder, Consuelo Castiglioni, marking a return to female leadership for the brand established in 1994. Her debut collection for Marni is expected during the Milan Fashion Week which takes place from September 23-29 2025.
